About the Role

It is the responsibility of the growth team to deliver an amazing experience from sign-up to full utilization of our services.

As a Growth Product Manager, you will collaborate with designers and engineers to solve user problems through innovative features. Additionally, you'll drive growth by building a robust data system, ensuring a comprehensive approach to user acquisition and retention via funnel optimization and scalability.

You will work in a highly collaborative environment while getting autonomy, ownership, and the ability to impact the entire product. Strong analytical skills & ability to use SQL with product analytics tools like MixPanel/Amplitude will be critical for the success of the role.

This role is based in Toronto; we expect you to come to the office (downtown Toronto) occasionally for working sessions, but you can work remotely on other days.

Responsibilities

    • Participate, supervise, and eventually lead growth-oriented initiatives.
    • Explore solutions, creating and validating hypotheses via A/B tests.
    • Dive into user feedback/data to understand user behavior, identify points of friction and opportunities for improvements.
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Designers, Product, and Engineering to iterate on growth experiments.
    • Build and maintain Segment events, piping them into ad platforms; specifically Google Ads, and Meta.

Must Have

    • 2+ years of product management or growth experience at a tech startup, ideally a B2C fintech.
    • Ability to use SQL within data analytics tools.
    • Knowledge of how events enter ad and lifecycle platforms.
    • Experience setting up growth experiments, following through to measure the impact.
    • An ability to understand the initiatives that will drive the most significant business impact.
    • Communication skills and diplomacy to successfully work with a cross-functional team and with different departments depending on initiatives.
    • A deep curiosity in understanding customer pain points. e.g., Why do they use the product? What are their problems? What are the barriers to value?

    • Location: For this position, we will only review applications from Toronto
    • Office: We have an office in downtown Toronto a few blocks from Union Station and expect you to be in the office at least once or twice a week
